Full time Public Representative, former Teacher.
First elected 1975 in a By-Election caused by the death of his father Michael F. Kitt. Lost seat in 1977. Elected 1981 and at each subsequent Election until 2002.
Appointed to the Senate by An Taoiseach, Mr. Bertie Ahern, in July 2002.
